One Canadian lady left everything she knew and loved because she adored UK comedy so much. Is stand up a good replacement for familial bonds? Should the visa process be more discerning when choosing Global Talent recipients? Has the woke liberal government gone too far by allowing women access to a mic at all?

Kate will take you through restarting your life at 30, and how she went from working at a start-up in Montreal to writing for UK soap operas in just a few complicated years. The paperwork was heavy, the cost was mortgage-worthy, and the stress means she can no longer eat gluten. But to Kate, it’s been all worth it.

And do not worry, there will be no Canadians attempting Scottish accents in this show – Mike Myers already cornered that market.
