John Mostyn, originally from East Kilbride but now based in Canada, returns to the Glasgow Comedy Festival after selling out his debut show ‘Bawbag’ last year.
In his new show, John explores the contradictions of trying to find spirituality while remaining a pessimistic Scotsman. He dives into his search for purpose after a life of debauchery, examining his relationships with himself, his friends, his imaginary lovers, and his cat, Barry.
A headliner at comedy clubs across North America, John’s debut album Scottish Cnt* hit #1 on iTunes in Canada and was named 2023 Canadian Comedy Album of the Year.
He’s a regular on Sirius XM and has appeared at prestigious festivals like Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs, and CBC LOL.
